Companies within the directory all have their own training department or an individual responsible for training. Additionally, we aim to list other information that is relevant to the training function, including details of the type of training undertaken, training providers used and training budgets. A sample entry showing all the information included within these entries can be seen on page 15. Companies are divided into the six sections listed below.
These sections are subdivided into different sub-categories (see page 690) and companies are listed under the sub-category that best highlights its main specialisation. Some companies have entries under more than one category. Educational & Vocational Training OrganisationsThe third part of the directory lists institutional organisations involved in either higher education or vocational training and is divided into six sub-sections comprising: Business Links, Business Schools & Other MBA Providers; Chambers of Commerce; LSCs & Scottish Enterprise Councils, Sector Skills Coucils & Standard Setting Bodies; and Universities.
